Services will adhere to Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. ( AAAHC ) standards and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) policies. Direct entries into the inmates' Bureau of Electronic Medical Records ( BEMR ) are required, documenting patient history, findings, assessment, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations. Services provided will meet AAAHC standards and local medical practices, subject to periodic review by the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and Facility Point of Contact (POC). The HSA retains professional responsibility for referred patients, while the candidate must adhere to all applicable regulations and guidelines during service provision. The Government may evaluate service quality but retains no control over medical, professional judgments, or specific treatment decisions.
