The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 32-bed unit, consisting of 20 telemetry, and 12 ICU step-down beds. The unit cares for highly acute cardiac medicine patients with diagnoses such as acute MI, cardiomyopathy, dysrhythmia, and heart failure. Treatments are primarily medical, but frequently include intervention in the Cardiac Cath & Electrophysiology lab, including stent placement, ablation, PPM/AICD implantation, Impella devices and TAVR's. Due to the chronicity of cardiac disease, the Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to form strong positive relationships due to the extended stays of many patients and their families. This unit is resourced a full-time “monitor watch” tech to assist in early detection of EKG changes and to alert staff of lethal rhythms. Staff on the floor will gain experience with vasoactive drip titration, Swann-Ganz catheters, LVADs, phlebotomy & IV insertion, ACLS, and palliative care. Job Summary Holly Hill Healthcare Center, a 75-bed skilled nursing, long-term care, and memory care-focused facility located in Towson, Maryland, is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and service-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Manager overseeing our skilled nursing and long-term care units. The Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership and operational oversight while promoting high-quality, resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, staff accountability, and positive clinical outcomes.
