Day (United States of America) Field Certified Nursing Assistant The Field CNA provides personal care and light housekeeping tasks to hospice patients in a variety of settings (Homes, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Boats, etc.) per plan of care developed by the Interdisciplinary Team. Collects blood and or samples as directed using sterile techniques which apply; process with correct paperwork, and direct to correct laboratory for processing. Sterilizes all equipment/instruments using proper techniques, as well as technical usage of all other standard equipment used at the Wound Clinic/and or Physician office. Administers all medications as ordered and assures all documentation is noted, as well as calling in medications to area pharmacies when requested by physician. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and their patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical wound care setting. Assists in use of equipment and materials in a cost-effective manner. Completes all documentation supporting billable activities in a timely manner. Maintains documentation and assessment of patients' vital signs, drug allergies and description of patients' complaints on all charts. Under the supervision of an RN, case manages patients with their wound care. Applies dressings as ordered per the physician. How you make a difference The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides a full range of psychiatric services to incarcerated patients in accordance with state licensure, collaborative practice requirements, and established policies and procedures. This role delivers direct psychiatric care, clinical consultation, and follow-up services to support patient treatment and continuity of care. The position works closely with mental health, medical, and administrative teams to ensure consistent and compliant psychiatric services. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner also seeks clinical consultation and supervision as required by collaborative practice protocols. Key Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, follow-up care, and medication management within professional and regulatory standards. Monitor effectiveness and side effects of psychotropic medications and provide ongoing patient education and informed consent. Collaborate with mental health, medical, and administrative teams to ensure coordinated and consistent psychiatric services. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and participate in required meetings, consultations, and on-call coverage. Support crisis intervention, referrals, transfers, and emergency or involuntary treatment processes as allowed by scope of practice and guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements Education Master in Science of Nursing or Post-Master’s Certificate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. Experience Minimum one (1) year of experience as a PMHNP required, or may be waived if approved by Vice President of Advanced Practice Program. Corrections experience in a PMHNP role preferred. Licenses/Certifications Unrestricted current license to practice as a PMHNP in the state of practice. Current board certification as a PMHNP. Current DEA Registration (unless Chief Psychiatric Officer determines it as optional). Current BLS certification.
