JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is a member of the Nurse Next Door team and works under the supervision of the Care Designer or a nurse and performs personal care services contained in a care plan written by a licensed health professional, employed or contracted by the agency. The CNA is responsible for observing clients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed and will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client’s care.
