Position Summary The Weekend Caregiver will deliver supportive care and companionship during the weekend hours (day shifts currently available). This role is ideal for caregivers who prefer a weekend schedule and enjoy providing companionship, and assisting with household and personal care tasks. Responsibilities Assist with ADLs, medication reminders and toileting, as needed Run errands or accompany clients to appointments, as needed Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, tidy-up) Prepare snacks or meal prep Engage clients in conversation, games, or meaningful activities Document all tasks via AxisCare Communicate schedule needs or client concerns promptly Arrive within the assigned timeframe of the shift Expect to commute at least 20-30 minutes Mileage is reimbursed for client errands/transportation and travel between Client homes Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable transportation Experience with ADLs and homemaker tasks preferred Ability to maintain client privacy and dignity North Carolina CNAs will start at $17/hour; certification must be current and not expired.
