Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Consultations & Admissions: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new consults in the Emergency Department and on medical floors. Perform detailed history and physical (H&P) exams, establish diagnoses, and initiate surgical management plans. Inpatient Rounding: Perform daily morning rounds on all surgical patients. Monitor clinical status, review laboratory and diagnostic imaging, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the attending surgeons.
