The case mix includes Ortho, transplant, regional, spine, healthy peds, thoracic, neuro, some L&D and plastics. Cardiac surgery is not performed at this location. Full-time opportunities are available at 1.0 or 0.9 FTE. Daytime positions consist of a combination of 12 and 8 hour shifts for 1.0 FTE or 12 hour shifts for 0.9 FTE. What You'll Do Manage patients following cardiac and vascular surgery, as well as those with advanced heart failure, LVADs, ECMO, and complex cardiovascular critical illness Evaluate and manage shock, respiratory failure, heart failure, renal failure, and other critical illnesses Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, specialists, and the ICU team Perform advanced bedside procedures including central venous and dialysis catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and thoracentesis Contribute to APP education, mentorship, quality improvement, and professional development Qualifications Graduate of an accredited AGACNP or PA program with current national certification Current BLS and ACLS Minimum one year of APP experience in an ICU CVICU, CICU, cardiothoracic critical care, LVAD, ECMO, and advanced procedural experience preferred Schedule & Benefits 13-hour day and night shifts.
