Staff Nurse

Position Summary The Registered Nurse maintains standards that relate to patient care and technical services performed and for the pre, intra and post diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in the invasive cardiology labs by serving in the roles of monitoring, circulating and scrubbing procedures. The focus of these standards is to assure optimal examinations, interventions, and post care while maintaining the highest level of patient safety and comfort possible. Education Associate Degree in Nursing - Required Experience 1-2 Years Critical Care - Preferred 1 Year Cath Lab or EP Lab or Special Procedures - Preferred License & Certification Registered Nursing License with State of Practice - Required Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Required within 90 days from hire date Core Job Functions Demonstrates knowledge and skill to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patient being served.
