DON Responsibilities Participates in the development and/or the implementation of philosophy, objectives, policies, and standards of Nursing practice in accordance with the goals of the organization Maintains adequate Nursing coverage to provide safe Nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assure that all customers are treated fairly, with compassion, dignity, and respect Works with the Administrator to develop, allocate and control the budget for the Department of Nursing Services Collects and analyzes clinical data from internal and external sources for Quality Assurance measures.
