Position Type: Student Support Services/School Nurse Date Posted: 6/10/2026 Location: Elementary School No. 1 Date Available: 9/01/2026 plus NTO Closing Date: 08/02/2026 ELEMENATRY SCHOOL NURSE SCHOOL #1 Description: Fort Lee Public School is seeking an Elementary School Nurse for School #1 Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Current Registered Nurse License Must hold a NJ DOE School Nurse Certification or be able to obtain Emergency School Nurse Certification Must hold a current CPR-AED Certification Experience working with elementary and high school-aged children in Grades PK-12 Pediatric experience with chronic and acute illnesses, and special needs preferred Ability to respond quickly and calmly using critical thinking and assessment skills. Ability to respond during evacuation situations. Ability to triage effectively. Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team. Availability for school trips and summer work, preferred. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Working Conditions: Full Time, 10 month position, with benefits Salary range: Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 and $121,709, commensurate with experience. RN Supervisor – Skilled Nursing Facility In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality care during your shift, support nursing staff, and serve as a key resource for residents, families, and clinical teams. Responsibilities: Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during assigned shifts Ensure that resident care is delivered in accordance with care plans and facility policies Respond to emergencies and act as the primary clinical decision-maker during shift Monitor staff performance and provide real-time coaching and feedback Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and care needs Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams as needed Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care, incidents, and resident status changes Report concerns or issues to the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing Qualifications: Active RN license #25
