Job Summary: The Acute Care RN in the ED is responsible for providing direct and indirect care to patients in an emergency setting, delegating tasks to other care team members as needed, and providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients. Patients and families will look to you for education and knowledge on improved health outcomes. You will assess, prioritize, and triage patients according to set guidelines, continuously monitor your patients while interpreting changes in patient condition, and work collaboratively with providers to implement lifesaving procedures.
