Ability to meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in-patient as determined. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely matter and forwarding charts as appropriate on a daily basis. As well as build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient-centric care, safety, cost, and reliably accurate information. Ensure that the activities of the Provider are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department expectations and are in compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-patient clinic and virtual settings. Ability to pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper patient follow up. Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, as well as responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Attest and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend Mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training. Ability to perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in the company by completing all mandatory compliance training in order to meet and exceed our continued quality of care. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to: Performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight Providing wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas Administering medication, including injections of medications and monitoring reaction to meds Maintaining medical records, including entering information into our electronic health record, TechCare Observing patient health and mental health status Providing emergency first aid Providing patient education and discharge/release planning Qualifications Education / Licenses / Certifications / Requirements Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred) Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
