Refers patient to appropriate services which exceed scope of practice of the practitioner. Provide health promotion counseling and develop patient teaching information. Serves as a resource person for other staff personnel. May supervise clinical staff. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
