Summary The Telehealth Triage RN is a customer-service focused nursing professional with a strong background managing high volume health-care calls (inbound and outbound) within a centralized contact center setting. Via a telephone information service system provides appropriate health information and hospital service referrals utilizing assessment skills in conjunction with established medical/nursing protocols and department guidelines. Mentors, guides and supports non-medical employees, including training when necessary. At the highest level, creates a seamless customer experience of system-wide patient access into ambulatory clinical operations, physician referral and medical advice lines. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire. Experience in a clinical nursing or telehealth setting. Excellent nursing assessment skills. Job Responsibilities Providing high-quality RN care in post-acute facilities Reviewing various care options with the medical team, residents, and their family members Coordinating with clinical teams to develop individualized care plans Being accountable to follow and adhere to resident care plans Administering appropriate medications and treatments to residents Drawing fluids as needed for labs and testing Using and monitoring medical equipment and devices to ensure effectiveness Training and supervising nursing professionals and other care staff consistent with scope of practice guidelines Promoting staff compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards of care Documenting all relevant data to include vital signs, nursing interventions and responses, and resident histories Assisting staff members with incident investigations and the development of care best practices Qualifications and Skills Current Ohio state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) Successful completion of an approved nursing program Minimum of 6 months of experience ( RN or related role) Advanced skills in multitasking, organization, and communication Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs Ready for a Job That Puts Your Needs First?
