Position Summary A Brief Overview Title: Nurse Intern Site: Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Location: St. Petersburg FL Status: Part-Time Shift: Nights – 24 hours per week Performs general patient care such as, hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and increased/constant observation in a basic role with the guidance and mentoring of the Registered Nurse. Communicates appropriate information regarding the patient’s condition to the registered nurse (RN) and other members of the healthcare team. Participates in handoff report and purposeful hourly rounding on patients. Documents information according to Orlando Health specific policies and guidelines. Transports and assists patients through the admission and discharge process. Transports Baker Act, behavioral health and suicide risk patients to diagnostic testing and procedures.
