This includes 10 beds in our updated and expanded behavioral health unit, and 13 dedicated pediatric beds. Summary: Assume responsibility and accountability as defined by the American Nurses Association standards of nursing practice. The Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice Apprentice is a newly licensed new to practice RN or RN with less than 15 months of experience that demonstrates basic safe practice within the organizational professional practice model. Position Description: Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians OBGYN is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with women’s health experience to join our hospital-affiliated OB-GYN practice. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered obstetrics and gynecological care. In addition to managing a diverse patient panel treating patients from adolescence to post-menopausal, you will play a key role in expanding our specialized midlife and menopause care. Travel may be required when working hours at our OBGYN satellite offices. Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE. Five 8-hour shifts; 8:00am-5:00pm. Position Requirements: Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required Women’s Health Nurse preferred FNP who sub-specialized in Women’s Health, either through additional training or fellowships will be considered). Teach the patient, family, and other members of the health care team. Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC). Qualifications Must be a graduate of an approved school of clinical education. Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice. Must have at least one year experience as a licensed nurse. Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Education and experience, preferred Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with a review and approval from the regional vice president for operations or regional director. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
