Collaborate with center leadership and the medical director to develop, implement, evaluate and re-evaluate the annual infection control and prevention goals and plans. Record, track and trend surveillance and investigation of infections; and actions taken to prevent and control spread of infections and report to center QAPI committee. Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Diploma with associated RN license from an accredited college or university. Certificate/diploma or degree in nursing, or Bachelor's degree (or higher) in microbiology or epidemiology; or Associate's degree (or higher) in medical technology or clinical laboratory science; or completion of training in another related field such as that for physicians, pharmacists, and physician's assistants. Certification in Infection Control as specified by Appendix PP at F880 is required prior to assuming the role in infection prevention and control. You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
