Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse position for Medical Special Procedures is to be responsible for the care of pediatric and adult patients undergoing endoscopic and other gastro-intestinal related procedures during the pre-procedural, procedural and post-procedural phases. Overview About the Role The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is a skilled health provider who through a written collaborative practice agreement with a physician is credentialed through the Medical Staff Office.
