About the Role We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver with experience supporting individuals living with dementia to provide dedicated, in-home care for a client who needs patient, attentive, and reliable support. Your responsibilities will include: Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support. Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Providing medication reminders. Assisting with mobility and transportation. Safety supervision and peace of mind. Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app. Communicating effectively with our office team. Skills & Experience We're looking for caring individuals who are passionate about helping others. You'll be successful in this role if you have: Successfully pass a background check. Reliable transportation and valid ID. Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. Our Critical Care Opportunities Include: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU): This critical care unit is comprised of 16 beds, operating 24 hours per day. With every private room, equipped with cameras to assist our nursing with direct patient visualization, we see a variety of patients suffering from serious conditions including sepsis, renal failure and liver failure, gastrointestinal bleeds, blood disorders, cancer, respiratory distress, withdrawal, cardiac and post-operative care. In this unit, you will experience a high level of teamwork while providing excellent care to a diverse population. Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Our Gold Beacon honored neuro-ortho ICU has a total of 24 beds, and we see it all here – from stroke to surgical to trauma. As a primary stroke unit, we offer a broad range of specialty services, including but not limited to, invasive intercranial pressure monitoring, continuous renal replacement therapy, advanced ventilation therapies, and trauma management. Our team is focused on creating an optimal work environment while delivering excellent care through best practices and expert patient care. Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU): As a Silver Beacon Award recipient, our CVICU includes 24 beds and has a concentration for coronary care including: coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, heart failure, balloon pumps, ventricular assist devices and cardiac arrest. This unit represents an exemplary team of nurses who work closely together in a positive and supportive work environment while providing excellent care for our patients who are suffering from life-threatening conditions.
