Status: Hourly Department: Nursing Supervisor: Wellness Director GENERAL DESCRIPTION : Provide maximum daily resident care services, recognizing each resident’s unique individual problems, and observing and reporting any symptoms, reactions, or changes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : 1. Receive report from Caregiver on duty immediately upon arrival at work. 2. Handle and serve residents to assure safety and comfort. 3. Assist with medication regimen. 4. File and maintain appropriate resident records and/or other clerical tasks. 5. Assist residents as needed in their activities of daily living, such as, but not limited to: dressing, grooming, bathing, ambulation, and going to bed as well as being responsive to residents throughout sleep hours. 6. Detect and correct situations that have a high probability of causing accidents or injuries to residents, employees, or visitors. 7. Assure physical comfort and mental wellbeing of residents. 8.
