This position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and will work a Full-Time Monday through Friday daylight schedule as a Collaborative Practice Nurse on the 3rd Floor of the Hillman Cancer Center . The Collaborative Practice Nurse will: Work daily with provider(s) and clinical team to assess and manage clinic patients Triage patient questions, concerns, and needs The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse is a member of the care delivery team. The Professional Staff Nurse is responsible to set the standards for the level and quality of care. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es). 2. Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of nursing process. 3. Assesses and evaluates patient’s status by: A. Writing and initiating plan of care B. Regularly re-evaluating patient and family/caregiver needs C. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. 6. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions.
