Are you looking for a meaningful role where your life experience, maturity, and heart are deeply valued? At Seniors Helping Seniors, we believe that aging should be met with dignity, grace, and respect. We are not a traditional, fast-paced staffing agency that just rushes people to fill random shifts. To us, our seniors and our caregivers matter equally—you both deserve a supportive, fulfilling experience. We specialize in creating genuine, long-term bonds by matching our care team with local seniors based on shared interests, compatible backgrounds, and mutual trust. If you are someone who naturally steps up to care for others, your community needs you. The Impact You Will Make Every day can look a little different, but your presence will always provide safety, comfort, and peace of mind. In this role, you will: Bring Joy and Connection: Share stories, enjoy hobbies, and keep seniors socially engaged and active. Support Daily Independence: Lend a hand with mild to moderate physical tasks that keep a household running smoothly, such as light house cleaning, meal preparation, and light yardwork. Provide Safe Passage: Our focus is primarily on in-home companion support; however,- you may occasionally assist a senior with transportation to local errands or appointments. Offer Specialized Peace of Mind: Provide vital respite care and specialized companionship for families navigating advanced aging needs, including Alzheimer’s, cancer, or post-surgery recovery. What We Are Looking For (Safety & Trust) Because the individuals we serve rely heavily on us, we look for professionals who understand the profound value of consistency. To join our team, you must bring: Physical Agility & Awareness: You should be physically active and responsive enough to manage everyday mild to moderate tasks (bending, lifting, reaching). Above all, you must maintain excellent situational awareness and quick reflexes to ensure environmental safety and provide steady, safe guidance to a senior during a crisis or an emergency, such as a fire Absolute Reliability: Our seniors truly look forward to your visits, and they genuinely need you there. Consistency is vital to their well-being, so we require mature professionals who are deeply committed to their scheduled shifts and rarely call off. Your reliability is the foundation of their safety and peace of mind. A Ready Vehicle: A valid US Driver’s License, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance to get you safely to and from your appointments at the seniors' homes. Background & Credentials: The ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and personality evaluation. (Note: While a formal medical background isn't required for companion roles, we actively welcome licensed RNs, CNAs, HHAs, and LPN/LVNs for advanced care matches.) Why You’ll Love Being on Our Team Schedules Built for Stability: Many agencies constantly rotate schedules, shuffling caregivers between different houses and leaving them with unpredictable hours. Our goal is entirely different: we work with you to progressively build a consistent, stable schedule with the same regular seniors. Please note that because we thoughtfully match based on compatibility, building your ideal schedule takes a little time. Hours are built up progressively as we find the perfect matches for you, rather than offering full-time hours immediately on day one. This intentional process ensures predictable, stable hours that actually stick. Flexible Availability: You are in complete control of your availability. Because we are a 24/7 care provider, we work with you to build your regular schedule around your specific lifestyle. This makes it a fantastic perk for those balancing school schedules, other jobs, or family commitments. Thoughtful Matching: We don't just assign random shifts. We spend time getting to know your unique background and hobbies to pair you with a compatible senior, allowing you to build a genuine, rewarding bond over time. Room to Grow: We believe in supporting our team's personal and professional development. For those interested in career enhancement, we love recognizing dedication and offer clear opportunities for advancement and leadership roles within our organization. How to Join Us We value your time and have designed a thoughtful, straightforward onboarding process: Initial Connection: A quick 10-minute phone call to learn about your location and availability. The Interview: A deeper conversation about your life experiences and matching preferences (conducted via Zoom or in-person, depending on your territory). The Bond: Completing your background screening and pairing you with a senior who shares your vibe. If you are ready to earn extra income while making a profound difference, apply today and let's chat!
