Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic studies, including vascular ultrasounds, CT angiography, laboratory tests, and other relevant imaging. Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care. Perform hospital rounds and coordinate inpatient management plans. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and postoperative care. Surgical Support Function as first assist during vascular surgical procedures, including open and endovascular interventions. Assist with vein harvesting, wound closure, vascular exposure, and other operative responsibilities as delegated. Participate in perioperative assessment and management of surgical patients. Procedures Perform office-based and bedside procedures within scope of practice, which may include: Wound debridement and wound care management Suture and staple removal Incision and drainage procedures Central and arterial line management Vascular access procedures Ultrasound-guided interventions as credentialed Care Coordination Collaborate with physicians, nurses, radiology staff, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
