Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and after patient appointments. Administer medications and vaccines under the supervision of a physician. Assists with processing prescription refill requests for approval and forwarding to pharmacies. Maintains medical inventory of supplies and keep exam rooms stocked appropriately. Keeps any necessary equipment in operating order and facilitating preventive maintenance when needed. Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations with scope of practice, HIPAA, and OSHA standards. Completes all required competencies and education to maintain skill level to provide safe patient care.
