Completes Pedi Essentials, annual competencies and mandatory in services as scheduled. Follows infection control guidelines, policies and procedures during every patient and family encounter. Administers spirometry procedures as directed. Triages phone calls within the LPN scope of practice. Deferring triaging, assessments and teaching to the registered nurse or to the provider or RN, when outside scope of practice. Facilitate the flow of patients within the clinical practice. Knowledgeable on the pediatric and adolescent vaccine schedule Assist with a variety administrative task including but not limited to the following: Answering Phones. Completing prior authorizations.
