Medication & Treatment Administration Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Surgical & Procedural Support Work as a scrub tech, circulator, and pre/post-operative nurse. Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatment, examinations, and testing of patients. Scheduling & Coordination Ability to schedule basic monitoring appointments, treatments, and procedures. Arrange for patient testing and admission. Documentation & Communication Maintain and review patient records, charts, and pertinent information. Document accurate and pertinent information including: Phone conversations with patients Questions asked and answered Prescriptions called to the pharmacy Reportable labs and tests Education/Experience: High School Graduate or GED Valid IN state LPN License IV certification strongly preferred. A Day in the Life: Program Administration Support Prioritize and organize the daily care of individuals to ensure consistent and effective service delivery. Make care assignments and assist in creating treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical staff to meet individual needs. Provide direct observation of individuals with specific monitoring situations (e.g., line-of-vision or one-on-one precautions) to ensure safety and therapeutic engagement. Direct support staff to coordinate workflow and communicate problems to unit supervisors to maintain smooth operations. Complete required documentation of nursing notes, transfer forms, and other records to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Provide orientation and support to staff on the unit to maintain continuity and quality of care. Program Management Support Provide ongoing assessment and documentation of individuals' physical and psychosocial status from admission to discharge to inform care decisions. Administer medications and treatments according to state-operated health care facility policies and procedures to support recovery and wellness. Develop and implement nursing care plans for acute medical problems to address evolving needs. Complete medication administration supervision monitors and clinical observation notes for support staff to ensure compliance and quality Educate individuals and family members regarding medication, procedures, and treatment goals and objectives to promote understanding and engagement. Respond and intervene in emergency situations and with agitated individuals to maintain safety and therapeutic environment.
