Educate patients and families on how to treat their acute illness and manage their health and well-being. Effectively navigate difficult conversations related to end-of-life issues and goals of care. Communicate effectively with patients, family, the medical power of attorney, primary care provider and all individuals involved in the patient’s care. Identify and proactively solve problems. If there is a documented work history as a Nurse Practitioner with greater than 3600 practice hours. Please note all NPs regardless of their status will be placed on an FPPE initially) Education: Master's degree program designed to prepare a NP to diagnose, treat, and prescribe for a patients condition that fall within their specialty area of practice or the successful completion of an approved supplemental education program, i.e., post-Masters NP certificate. For all NPs hired effective June 1, 2019, National Board Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing required. The salary range for the role is $129000 - $140000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
