Description MaineHealth Cancer Care is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to work at our MaineHealth Cancer Care in North Conway, NH. This practice includes a comprehensive array of services to support the care of cancer patients in an office/clinic. Work as part of a statewide oncology care program- the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network (MHCCN) is an integrated cancer care delivery network across the Southern, Coastal and Mountain regions of Maine and eastern New Hampshire. Designed to provide care as close to home as possible, the network is comprised of 11 hospital partners and provides comprehensive cancer care to more than 7,400 cancer patients annually. This position allows for a 4-day work week, working 10 hours each day. Call is required for this position, with an oncologist on call for back up. Minimum Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master’s Degree level of education. Current Board Certification as a PA/ACNP. MaineHealth OBGYN with Stephens Hospital in Norway, Maine, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Professional with women’s health experience - Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Associate (PA), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our OB/GYN practice. Help support our busy, outpatient OB/GYN practice under the supervision of covering OB/GYN physicians. This provider will manage a broad range of Women’s Health issues including prenatal and postnatal OB care. The position is focused on outpatient care of obstetrical patients to include clinical care coordination of obstetrical services. However, there is the potential to adapt this position based on the candidate’s interest and experience to include some combination of gynecological care, deliveries, or support for surgical procedures. The candidate is expected to have completed an accredited certified nurse midwifery, nurse practitioner or physician associate program and have two or more years of applicable women’s health experience. A successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and knowledge of low-risk pregnancy. They will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment within a busy OB/GYN practice. They will value working with a diverse Minimum Qualifications Education: BSN/MSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACNM or successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program. License/Certifications: Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife as required in the State of Maine. Current BLS certification. NRP, BLS, and surgical first assistant certifications required. Experience: Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery and office experience required; CNM experience is preferred. Competency with IUD insertion and office ultrasound is required; Nexplanon insertion is desired. Comfort with moderate-to-high risk pregnancies. Prescribe appropriate medications, including controlled substances in accordance with NH Law. Order, review, and/or follow-up with treatments and diagnostic testing. Communicate with the nursing home staff on a regular and as needed to discuss changes in condition. and/or the care plan. Collaborate with the primary care physician. WOUND NP QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of New Hampshire. Board Certification. DEA licensure (Optional) Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties. Clinical background of wound care; including but not limited to chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers. Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc. Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified Experience working in a long-term care setting. Ability to work with an EMR. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
