The practitioner will provide care to adults with life-threatening illnesses and will be an integral part of the critical care team headed by an attending intensivist, who will be on-site 24/7. Duties include ICU rounding, Rapid Response Team leader, procedures including intubations, central line insertion, arterial line insertion. APP will be able to work 6 (12-hour) shifts per month. This role would be a mix of outpatient visits and inpatient consults Outpatient Visits (chronic progressive disease processes): Parkinson's Disease, Tremors (resting and active), Huntington's Disease. Evaluating/diagnosing patients. Treating/prescribing. DBS (deep brain stimulation) programming. Inpatient Care: Consulting on patients in hospital with Parkinson's Disease.
