Type/Schedule: Part time, PRN, weekend, and holiday coverage Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and discharge planning. Patient population: Ages 6-65. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health needs. Participate in treatment team meetings to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care. Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities alongside mental health providers. Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health. Provide medical consults and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed. What We're Looking For: Licensure: Active Alaska NP/APRN license or the ability to obtain licensure. Education: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Certification: AANPCB Board Certification. Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-training experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred (behavioral health experience a plus).
