Job Description The Outpatient Oncology Clinical Nurse II serves in a leadership role and delivers direct patient care to an adult Oncology outpatient population. This role will be focused on, but not limited to, Head & Neck Oncology patients. Registered Nurse - Neuro-Oncology

Job Description The Division of Neuro-Oncology here at UCSF cares for patients with central nervous system tumors (CNS brain tumors) from diagnosis, through all stages of their illness, including hospice and death. Approximately 2000 patients per year are seen in the outpatient clinic. Patients are treated with standard of care therapies as well as research protocols. This position will work with the staff of Neuro-Oncology: neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurses (CNII/CNIII), and clinical research associates in caring for this patient population under the supervision of the Patient Care Manager RN. The primary responsibility of the Neuro-Oncology CN II is to provide comprehensive care for all brain tumor patients being followed by the Division of Neuro-Oncology here at UCSF. He/she will work closely with the Nurse Practitioners, CNII, CNIII, physicians, both neurosurgeons and neuro-oncologists, who see and care for patients with CNS tumors in clinic. Job Description Under the supervision of the Administrative Nurse (AN) or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing skilled and comprehensive nursing care to radiation oncology patients with a wide variety of oncological and/or disease-related problems seen for consultation, treatment, and follow-up. Job Description Under the supervision of the Administrative Nurse (AN) or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing skilled and comprehensive nursing care to radiation oncology patients with a wide variety of oncological and/or disease-related problems seen for consultation, treatment, and follow-up. Job Description Involves the provision of integrated and accessible primary and specialty patient care services in a clinic or center environment. Care is provided by clinicians and assistants who are accountable for addressing a large majority of personal health care needs and developing a sustainable partnership with patients. Ensures optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and / or provision of patient care delivery in healthcare clinics or centers. Promotes shared decision-making at all levels to ensure a shared voice in practices, exchange of ideas, enhanced communication, and continually improved patient services.
