This Surgical Technologist position is a full-time days position. As a Surgical Technologist at Reid Outpatient OR - No call, No Holiday, No Weekends are required for this position! In lieu of call, you may be required to stay over in the event of case overruns. As a Surgical Technologist for Reid Outpatient OR, your responsibilities include: Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly. Proper disposition of specimens and instruments. Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety. Performs in first assist role in a variety of surgical procedures. Functions as a support to related departments within Surgical Services as needed.
