We average 200+ deliveries a month and manage many outpatients daily for antenatal testing. Daily census is 18 mom and baby couplets. Our NICU is newly remodeled and have expanded our care to higher risk patients (28 weeks gestational age). Schedule: This position is 56 hours per two weeks on the Night shift, 8 hour shifts, every other weekend rotation. M Health Fairview is hiring for our Perioperative 101 RN, who after training/education is complete will work at the University of Minnesota Medical Center on the East Bank campus in Minneapolis. About our OR at UMMC East Bank: The East Bank Campus is a teaching hospital and has 24 newly renovated Operating Rooms. Our Operating Room is performing an average of 60 cases per day. We provide innovative surgical suites for adult patients needing surgical intervention. Learning is reinforced in the lab and clinical setting. The classroom didactic, hands-on lab experiences and clinical practicum take place Monday through Friday on the day shift, however hours can vary. The method of evaluation will include chapter post-tests, final examination, skill demonstrations and preceptor observation in the clinical setting. Provides 41.7 continuing education contact hours after successful completion. Required Qualifications: A current Minnesota RN license by start date.
