As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care. In this role, you will direct and coordinate nursing care for patients, adhering to established nursing practice standards, you will work with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective and efficient patient care to achieve optimal outcomes and oversee the care provided to assigned patients, ensuring compliance with current standards, guidelines and regulations. As a Registered Nurse with the Melrose Hospital, you will be trained in Med/Surg, ER and OB. We are a 29-bed unit that provides care for a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting children and adults such as joint replacements, sports medicine, and fractures resulting from an accident or other trauma. In addition to providing exemplary care to kids, you will also provide nitrous oxide for procedures, respond to pediatric codes, and participate in sedation programs with intensivists.
