Facilitates interdisciplinary and cross-departmental process improvement and reengineering initiatives using appropriate quality tools, methods, and change strategies. Assists departments and teams in developing appropriate indicators and measures of performance for the Sepsis program including tools and strategies for ongoing performance measurement. Identifies gaps and makes recommendations for process change. Assists with the use of the Rapid Cycle Improvement Process to accelerate change. Educates staff on the use of the Sepsis guidelines and uses LEAN strategies, tools, and methods. Demonstrates and integrates knowledge of improvement model and framework into daily performance. Anticipates customer needs and manages the provision of services to all customers, including patients, physicians, hospital departments, and staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
