Job Overview As part of the Clinical Resource (CR) Team, the Clinical Nurse serves as a system-wide resource, providing patient care within defined cohort areas: Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency/Network of Care, and/or Ambulatory clinical areas. The Clinical Nurse has the clinical knowledge, skills, and competencies to provide nursing care commensurate with the unit, department, and division expectation. The Clinical Nurse may begin their shift in one unit and based on a change in census and acuity be reallocated to a different unit to meet operational needs. However, it is also possible for the Clinical Nurse to experience extended periods of time in one department to offset long-term absences through the Months Program.
