Role and Responsibilities The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating nursing care throughout the hospital for a defined shift. The Supervisor works in conjunction with the Department Directors and Chief Nurse Executive to ensure continuous delivery of quality patient care throughout the building. Has a thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, ACHA, AOA, and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
