JOB DESCRIPTION " POSITION SUMMARY The Perioperative Team Leader is a member of the interdisciplinary team. The Team Leader is responsible to oversee any necessary coordination of the interdisciplinary plan of care and provides for its consistency with the medical treatment plan. This position assists the Surgery Center leadership with resolving staff issues, participating in performance reviews, developing and implementing performance improvement activities and orienting new employees. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation Qualifications EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey and current BLSHCP. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-5 years experience preferred. 2 years previous specialty experience and/or demonstrated competency within specialty preferred.
