Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary The WashU Department of Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated, high-energy Staff Nurse II to join its dynamic, outpatient pediatric ambulatory clinic. The Staff Nurse II delivers comprehensive, holistic pediatric care by conducting thorough patient and family assessments, analyzing medical records, and seamlessly coordinating specialized care across disciplines. Working hands-on in the clinic, the Staff Nurse II provides direct clinical support—including administering medications, performing specialized procedures, monitoring patient status, and assisting providers with examinations and prescription refills. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Performs and documents assessment of the patient/family (biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, spiritual and environmental); collects and analyzes data from the medical record in order to coordinate patient care.
