Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Supervisor will assure quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process, as outlined by the Texas Nurse Practice Act. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring unit goals, objectives and Standards of Performance are met as well as to develop, coordinate and implement clinical activities and staff development. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum of two to four (2-4) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse, Supervisor experience required.
