Job Summary and Qualifications Under the supervision of the director or designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs. The registered nurse assumes accountability for the care of Cardiac Cath Lab patients. All functions will be performed in accordance with the standards, practice acts, and licensure in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Employee will recognize the population specific needs of the CAD, CHF, PVD, MI, UA and Angina patients and apply the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviors to meet those needs when performing patient care activities. What You Will Do in This Role: You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols. You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
