About the unit The Helen DeVos Children's Surgery department completes over 8000 cases per year. It has 8 operating rooms including one with a fully integrated MRI suite. HDVCH surgery is verified as a Level 1 Children's Surgery site through the American College of Surgeons. Our unit is staffed 24/7 with a team of RNs and Surgical Technologists. Our physician teams consist of all pediatric certified Surgeons and Anesthesiologists. Helen DeVos OR supports a large variety of specialties including ENT, General, Urology, Robotics, Plastics, Ortho/Ortho Spine, Cardiac, Dental, Burn, Ophthalmology, and Neurosurgery. About this unit The Butterworth OR is a level 1 trauma center and teaching hospital. The department consists of twenty-one (21) operating rooms that provide 24/7 patient care including the support of procedures across the medical center in other departments. Our multidisciplinary team of providers including anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, surgical technicians, and support technicians collaborate to provide high quality, safe patient care. About this unit 3H is a 22 Neuroscience/Spine unit at Blodgett Hospital that specializes in the care of patients admitted with neurological conditions, stroke, and spinal surgeries such as fusions and laminectomies. Employees are often drawn to 3H for the variety of patients while still having a specialty focus. Our employees become competent in caring for a large array of both surgical and medical patients and become experts in the care of patients within our specialties.
