The MH Registered Nurse II – Clinical Cardiology Ambulatory Care role serves a diverse population of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, utilizing advanced clinical judgment, critical thinking, and a collaborative team-based approach to deliver exceptional patient care. The Clinical Cardiology RN is responsible for triaging patient concerns via telephone, electronic communication, and in-person encounters. Working closely with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams, the RN assesses symptoms, interprets clinical information, facilitates timely interventions, and coordinates care across the continuum. This role requires the ability to independently assess complex clinical situations, prioritize patient needs, and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced ambulatory environment. Additional responsibilities include performing in-office patient assessments, supporting patients through diagnostic and treatment plans, conducting stress testing, and providing education and care coordination for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. The RN serves as a key clinical resource for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and other complex cardiac conditions. Following completion of orientation and competency training, this position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both remote and on-site responsibilities.
