Position Summary The Cardiac Step-Down Unit (CSDU) is a 6-bed unit. Nurse to patient ratio is 3:1. The CSDU provides an intermediate level of care with a focus on the cardiothoracic patient population. CSDU provides patient-centered care to all cardiac patients from adolescence (age 16) to adults of all ages. The staff in the CSDU are very engaged in a Shared Governance model of leadership. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Experience Experience in an acute cardiac care or critical care environment required. Licensure/Certifications RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start.
