We treat a wide variety of patients with varying levels of acuity, both in med/surg and step-down status. We specialize in pre- and post-operative care for transplant patients—specifically liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant candidates. Surgical Transplant offers the opportunity to participate in high complexity patient care (both pre- and post-operative transplant care) and gives the ability for caregivers to see the entire organ transplant process. General Description: An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) I works under general supervision, providing the highest quality of care to patients in a hospital setting with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
