Workflows are based on urgent patient care needs, however, the rapid response nurses will also have assigned tasks to complete such as projects, staff education, performance improvement data collection, etc. A collaborative member of the health care team, the Rapid Response Team RN delivers nursing care to specific populations of patients. The Rapid Response Team RN will work collaboratively with the Medical Critical Care charge nurse(s) to ensure high quality delivery of care and to maintain continuity of care through appropriate referral and follow-up. The Rapid Response Team RN is an active member of the Rapid Response Committee, Trauma Committee, and the MTP Committee.
