Part- time Evening Shift (3p-11p) and Night Shift (11:00pm to 7:00am) $40.00 to $55.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview: The RN Supervisor at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Barnwell plays a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care, overseeing staff, collaborating with physicians, and providing both physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families. Key Responsibilities: Identify patient service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual patients, as well as others in a position to understand service needs. Oversee medical and administrative equipment by verifying the availability of emergency equipment, completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating repairs. Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving. Requirements: Current NYS RN Licensure (BSN preferred but not required). Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings. What you will do: The Registered Professional Nurse has the responsibility and accountability to utilize the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individuals or groups. In conjunction with other nursing colleagues, maintains the medical supply cabinet and drug cabinet. Uses the electronic medical record to communicate effectively. Performs quality assurance duties as assigned. Provides a clinical visit summary (Patient Plan) to patient as requested including educational materials.
