Our leadership is not across the country, but rather in your backyard. * (3) 12 hour shifts at $55 / rate- shifts during week vary- Job Description RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Available shifts: 7am-7pm (open availability) 7pm-7am every Thursday and Friday The RN Nurse Supervisor plans, controls and executes the nursing services required by the residents. Supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements, to ensure that the residents receive the highest quality of care at all times. Together with the Nursing Director, the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor plans the operation of nursing services and the provision of emergency support requirements for tour of duty. Plans the coordination of nursing activities in line with medical needs, physician instructions and the general nursing care plan. Coordinates the activities of charge nurses to ensure proper care of residents. In conjunction with medical staff, adjusts the care plan to meet emergency medical needs. In the absence of superiors, the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor assumes total responsibility for operating decisions required by the circumstances of the moment. Takes responsibility for management of emergency situations as the need develops. Ensures presence of appropriate relief staff to assume responsibility prior to leaving the facility. Ensures notification of resident’s personal physician if there is a significant change in the condition of the resident or if the resident requires immediate medical care. Qualifications: The RN Registered Nurse Supervisor must hold a current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing. Must have previous experience in a supervisory capacity. Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The RN Registered Nurse Supervisor demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team. Long term care experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care. Responsibilities: CureCare’s nursing team provides best-in-class clinical care. As a member of the nursing team, you will: • Build rapport with patients, provide infusion therapy, education, and monitoring. • Establish and maintain vascular access devices as prescribed. • Administer medications, assess for side effects. • Maintain knowledge of infusion therapies. • Assess patient appropriateness for home infusion. • Document patient history and clinical information. • Provide skilled care as ordered. • Communicate patient response to care promptly.
