This is a full time night shift opportunity consisting of 3, 12 hour shifts per week. Basic knowledge of the research base, theory, practices, principles, and processes of professional nursing. Experience caring for stroke patients preferred. Telemetry experience strongly preferred. Analytical ability sufficient to identify changes in patients' conditions and to initiate appropriate action. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical work flow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. The Clinical Manager will work with physicians, midlevel providers and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each practice location. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine RN license required. Summary This is a full time, 36 hour/week, day shift position. Unit Bio Our Medical-Surgical Unit offers a safe and nurturing environment for patients of all ages. Telemetry, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, cardiac/respiratory, diabetes, stroke, pediatrics, and gynecological surgery are all part of our practice. The Registered Nurse role is responsible for the management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
