Reinforces patients continued health care through teaching and/or referral to case management/social services for community agency follow-up. Maintains a constant awareness of the legal aspects of nursing and demonstrates his/her decisions and documentation regarding patient care within the Registered Nurses scope of practice. Reports to Nursing Management any work performance problems, policy violations, or misconduct by non RN’s supervised on unit.
